detained one person including 9 skeletal people in the case of a scam. He was arrested from the bank of the Padma river in Serampore area around 3pm on Sunday.
The detained person named Shukur Ali (28) He is the son of late Anwar Hossain of Serampore area. A team of Detective Branch (DB) of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) detained him.
Later this information was given in a press release of RMP. RMP spokesman Senior Assistant Commissioner Iftekheer Alam said that on the basis of secret information that the smuggled smugglers from India were being brought to Rajshahi, the Metropolitan DB conducted a police operation.
During this period, Shukur Ali, along with 9 skeletal people, was detained in handmade. In the initial interrogation, Shukur said that for a long time, he used to bring skeleton from India and provide various places of the country including Rajshahi.
Legal action is being taken against him in this case, police said.
